Liane Rebeka Harrison opened Sapphire Photo Studio in 2005 in Naperville, IL. She recently moved back to Fitchburg where she re-opened Sapphire Photo Studio in the Benjamin Plumbing Building.

She has been photographing since 1984 and has a Bachelors degree in Visual Journalism and minored in Professional Photography from Brooks Institute of Photography. It has been her dream to open a photography studio for many years. She spent the last 3 years assisting and shooting weddings and special events in the Chicago area as well as working for Suburban Chicago Newspapers as a part time photo technician. She often freelances for Lands' End, Vogel, JP Cullen, Jacquelyn Mitchard, AVI-Midwest, and Dimension - IV Madison.

She is planning a wedding of her own and soon will be Liane Rebeka Harrison.

Liane has recently joined forces with Matt Kirk who has been working professionally in photography and multimedia for several years. He has a bachelor's degree in Geography from University California - Santa Barbara. Matt has been working with multi media, photography and video for about 10 years. Teaming his interest in culture and people with visual journalism has allowed him to capture the human spirit. He recently relocated to Madison with his wife in August 2006. He is currently employed with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship's twentyonehundred productions where he is producing videos, photographic publications, and other media for use as marketing materials for college students all over the World. His inspirations for the profession are greatly appreciated at Sapphire Photo, we are striving to learn from each other and become the best professional photographic and video studio in the Midwest.

Liane and Matt enjoy working together as a team and feel that event coverage is at least twice as nice when you hire both of them to attend your special event. Since they both studied photography and the arts for many years in Santa Barbara, CA they have much in common but each bring a unique viewpoint to the art.
